Carrie Plunkett, BS
Carrie is the Program Specialist at UVM’s Center on Rural Addiction (CORA), where she supports and provides general oversight for administrative functions and business operations and helps advance the organization’s mission to provide evidence-based support for rural healthcare providers addressing substance use disorders. With extensive experience in administrative roles and market research, Carrie has managed research projects, client communications, participant outreach, and data collection, where she has contributed to initiatives that raise awareness of substance use disorder and reduce the stigma surrounding addiction. Passionate about making a meaningful impact, she’s honored to work alongside dedicated professionals focused on supporting those affected by substance use. In addition to her professional work, Carrie has been actively involved in the Vermont community, volunteering with local schools, youth sports programs, and nonprofits supporting families and social justice causes. Carrie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Studies and an Associate’s Degree in Office Management from Champlain College. Raised in Vermont, she embraces the unique beauty and values of her home state, which inspire her commitment to both her work and her community.
