Baseline Needs Assessments

UVM CORA’s baseline needs assessments explore substance use disorder (SUD) treatment needs and barriers in our rural service area. We surveyed healthcare practitioners and community stakeholders about topics including concerns about substances, comfort treating patients with SUDs, barriers to treatment, beliefs about treatment, impacts of COVID-19, and resource preferences. Our Vermont assessment also included qualitative interviews with people and families affected by opioid use disorder (OUD).
